The NHS is holding a meeting on the future of Royston's health services, and everyone is invited to attend.

The meeting follows on from the launch of the Let's Talk: Royston consultation, which is still running.

So far the consultation has received more than 700 responses, with the community keen to have their say on the town's health and wellbeing services.

The meeting will take place from 3pm to 5pm on Wednesday, August 2 at the Coombes Community Centre.

Maggie Allen, former chair of Royston Community Health, said: "There is little doubt that as our community grows we will need more local health services and this will be an opportunity to join small discussion groups and help inform future decisions on local policy.

"The school holidays are a busy time but I would like to ask any younger people and people with families to attend if they can as that would make for a more balanced overall view.

"It is rare that we have the opportunity to voice our opinions in this way and it is important that we try to achieve the local services we need for now and the future."
