Staff and volunteers from East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) were recognised for their life-saving work at an awards ceremony in Barrington.
The Stars of EEAST Awards were held on Wednesday, July 5, with staff recognised for a cumulative 1,760 years of NHS service.
CEO commendations were received by Jodie Simmons, who tried to save a neighbour from a fire while off-duty, and Emergency Operations Centre call handler Carla Brightman, who talked a 13-year-old down from a bridge.
Other CEO commendations went to George Barber, who drove to a local swimming pool following an alert to save a man in cardiac arrest, Baley Faulkes-Anstee, who helped resuscitate a man in cardiac arrest, and Aimee Jones, who organised a charity bike ride in memory of colleague Nick Lee.
Finally, Sadie Sampson, Barry King and Emily Beckwith, were commended for helping a teenager on a bridge in Southend to safety.
Special recognition awards went to paramedic Lee Sweetlove, who received the Lynn Storrie Award for his "exemplary attitude", while community first responder Stuart Little was given the Keith Marshall award for offering support to his teammates.
Christine Cheetham won volunteer of the year, while the Trust Value Award for quality went to Owen Davies and the trust value award for teamwork went to the Medicines Management Team.
Trust Value Awards for honesty, respect and care went to Janice Scott, Chris Hewetson and Joe Cartwright.
A group of staff members received the Excellence in Patient Care award, sponsored by Cleric Community Services, for caring for a mother who gave birth to premature twins at home.

The Excellence in Innovation Award went to the Unmet Needs Team, while the Excellence in Professional Development Award went to Caroline Dilley.
Jack Broomfield, Lee Umpleby and Martin Richards received awards for Excellence in Community Partnership.
Rachel Avery won the award for Excellence in Leadership, Zain Hanif was named Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year and the Patient Safety Team was named Team of the Year.
Finally the People's Choice Award went to Clive Parnham, who also received an award for 40 years of service.
EEAST chief executive Tom Abell said: "The Stars of EEAST awards recognise the incredible service our staff and volunteers provide to patients and their communities throughout the region.
"On the night we heard so many stories of incredible bravery and selflessness in the special recognition awards and tireless dedication in our long service awards.
"Our people consistently rise to the challenges they face and for that I would like to say a huge thank you."
