TOMMY Cooper can be described as a clown: but he was a genius, too. He had the ability to create stand-up comedy and, once in a while, make a trick work.

There was a unique quality to Cooper and his act.

This has been captured in Fisher's book which traces the life of Cooper from the days when he was given a conjuring set to the time spent in the Middle East with the Combined Services Entertainment Unit to his death on stage at Her Majesty's Theatre in 1984.
