CD of the week is probably something of a misnomer for Radiohead's latest album, In Rainbow's, as it is currently available as a download only.

This move has, of course, generated much media coverage, with the band allowing fans to pay as much - or as little - for it as they like, meaning you can pick up the entire album for less than the price of a penny chew.

But is it any good? Well I usually find it takes a while to fully appreciate a Radiohead album, but the early signs are very positive. It certainly feels more cohesive and less bloated than the bands last record, Hail to the Thief.

Bodysnatchers is a solid first track, but the real strength of the album is in the middle. Farst Arp, Reckoner, and House of Cards are all outstanding, particularly the latter, which sees Thom Yorke in typically languid form.

The average price paid for In Rainbows so far is about £4. I imagine most buyers will consider that money well spent.
