THERE'S been a raft of documentary films over the last few years - some good, some bad, some indifferent - but this ranks as truly sensational. Telling the story of the events surrounding the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics by Palestinian extremists, what emerges is truly shocking. Helped by Michael Douglas's excellent narration throughout, the viewer is guided through the day as it happened, complete with the gruesome but sadly inevitable denouement. Directed by Kevin Macdonald - responsible for the equally popular climbing film Touching The Void - this won the Best Feature Documentary Oscar in 1999. Rightly so.
