DAMON Albarn is a man of many talents.

The former Blur singer was at the forefront of the Britpop movement in the 1990s, and earlier this year released a critically acclaimed album with his latest project, The Good, the Bad, and the Queen.

In between he has provided the vocals for virtual rock-cum-hip hop outfit Gorillaz, who this week release their latest album D-Sides, a double CD collection of B-Sides, remixes, and rarities.

Live favourite Hong Kong has been re-worked in spectacular fashion for the album, while 68-State and Stop the Dams, with its Radiohead-esque intro, provide other highlights.

D-Sides is an essential purchase for any fan of Gorillaz unique style, and one hopes Albarn will find time to work on some new material with the band in the future.
