Archant

Box office fever is gripping Royston’s Picture Palace again.

After the volunteers who run the community cinema had to add an extra showing of family hit Paddington last month to cope with demand, much-praised biopic The Theory Of Everything is the latest presentation to benefit from an extra sitting.

Originally there were screenings planned next Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the film about the life and loves of physicist Stephen Hawking, starring Eddie Redmayne – nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for his performance – and Felicity Jones.

But due to what’s been described as ‘amazing’ demand, a third Saturday, February 14, screening has been arranged at 12.30pm.
