LAST year is widely considered to have been an exceptional 12 months for the British music industry, with a string of up and coming acts making their mark in spectacular fashion.
To celebrate this, radio station Xfm have released Xfm Debut Sessions, a double CD compilation of live recordings from some of 2007's hottest new artists.
It was also the stations tenth birthday last year, so the second disk commemorates some of the best debut albums from the last decade.
Highlights include Kate Nash's acoustic performance of Foundations, and The Pigeon Detectives belting out I'm Not Sorry.
The View also impress with a stripped down version of Same Jeans.
More established acts such as Editors, The Fratelli's, and Babyshambles provide the stand out moments on the second CD.
