Stone certainly gained a certain amount of attention when making World Trade Center and there was concern about his treatment of the atrocity. After all, Stone has a reputation for being controversial.
But he has been true to the facts and taken one aspect of events on that terrible day to show the courage and bravery of those whose job it was to mount a rescue mission.
