Glastonbury favourites and top party band, Uncle Funk and the Boogie Wonderland have two shows on their home ground this Christmas.

On Saturday, December 8, they will be at Foakes Hall, Great Dunmow and on Sunday, December 23, they will be at Chesterfords Community Centre.

This is the band that recreates the 1970s. Their audiences don’t just hear that funky decade, they become it, dressing up and doing their hair in style.

The Funks, which began their career in Saffro Walden, have played Glasto three years running, 2015, 2016 and 2017 (there was no festival this year). Their show with elaborate costumes, slick dance moves and high energy is designed to put smiles on faces and keep feet firmly on the dancefloor. Every song in the set has been chosen with the dance floor in mind.

Both parties from 8pm to midnight. Dunmow tickets, £22, Great Chesterford £24.25 both including booking fee, from www.WeGotTickets.com.
