Available from Monday January 30 AS one of the most popular programmes on the box, the Simpsons continues to excel itself and produce first-class entertainment. The Simpsons have to be everyone's - or at least almost everyone's - favourite dysfunctional family, and episodes of their antics have made it the longest-running animated show ever. Its writers still manage to come up with consistently quirky humour involving Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie - as well as the other residents of the fictional town of Springfield. This series' special guests are Courtney Thorne-Smith, Chris Elliot, Mickey Rooney, Linda and Paul McCartney, Bob Newhard, Donald Sutherland and Kirk Douglas.
