JACK White - guitarist, singer and songwriter with The White Stripes - has already hinted that this new band is more than a side project, and that his future may well be with The Raconteurs.
The seed was sown when White joined forces with long-term friend and pint-sized songwriter Brendan Benson to write lead single Steady as She Goes in White's attic. The rhythm section of fellow Detroit outfit The Greenhornes was recruited to provide a full band sound, and The Raconteurs began working on material for Broken Boy Soldiers.
