LINCOLN Six Echo (Ewan McGregor) and Jordan Two-Delta (Scarlett Johansson) make up just part of a community which survived a global contamination disaster.
They live in a sterile, self-contained world where everything is organised for them. Lincoln starts to question their idyllic way of life, and when his best friend Jordan wins the lottery, together they are sent to The Island, which
is the only other remaining harmless land in an apparently destroyed outside world.
The pair manage to escape and discover that the world they are living in is a lie, and so is the nature of their existence.
