THERE'S still plenty of action on the folk club front, before most clubs take a break for the summer.
Hitchin Folk Club, which meets at The Sun Hotel in Sun Street, on Sunday evenings, has Waterson Carthy this Sunday, Chris and Kellie While, plus Edwina Hayes on June 10, and Martyn Joseph on June 17.
Their final meeting until September is on June 24, when Clive Carroll, Gareth Pearson, and Wild Willy Barrett are the guests.
Admission is generally £10 for members and £12 non members, but Waterson Carthy and Martyn Joseph are £12 and £14.

- Baldock and Letchworth Folk Club meets at The Orange Tree in Norton Road, on Wednesday evenings at 8.30pm.
Their guests until the summer break are: June 6: Becky Taylor and Paul Cowham; 13: The Outside Track; 20: Ewan Wilkinson and Sandy Brechin; 27: Eilean Mor; July 4: Playaround/singaround.
Sessions are £2, and guest nights usually £6-£8.
