Martyn's 20-year career has seen him make some notable achievements.
He has made the UK charts top five with such songs as Dolphins Make Me Cry, Working Mother, and Let's Talk About It In The Morning.
And he has made appearances with Suzanne Vega, Marc Cohn, Joan Armatrading, Clannad, Chris De Burgh, Jools Holland, Art Garfunkel, and Celine Dion.
He says: "Really, what I do is try to write songs that might make a difference."
His latest studio album is Deep Blue, and he also has a live album out, recorded at last year's Greenbelt festival.
