If you’re looking to follow in the footsteps of JMW Turner, you can pick up tips about painting seascapes in oils in Royston on Friday night.
Roy Lang will be leading the Royston Arts Society session at the Market Hill Rooms, at the top of Fish Hill, from 8pm to 10pm, offering guidance on the medium for which Britain’s greatest artist is justly famed.
Visitors are always welcome to attend at £2 per session.
The society also meets on Tuesday afternoons twice a month at the same venue from 2pm to 4pm to paint and socialise.
