Available from Monday February 6 THIS version of Jane Austen's novel had a lot to live up to, not only to the classic book itself, but also to the much-loved mini-series which was screened in the mid 90s But it has become a huge hit on both sides of the Atlantic, and a real triumph for its director, British newcomer Joe Wright. The tale portrays life in the genteel rural society of the day. It follows the five Bennet sisters as they deal with suitors and love, and the many trials and tribulations that brings as their mother tries desperately to marry them off to her advantage.
