Friday BBC 2. 10pm RETURNING to our screens with a new series, Mock the Week, invites those from the world of stand-up comedy to take a swipe at the news. Hosted by Dara O'Briain, regulars include impressionist Rory Bremner and actor-comedian Hugh Dennis as team captains. Comic Frankie Boyle completes the line-up of regulars. They are joined each week by other top comedians, and in the first edition Jo Brand, Al Murray and John Oliver are on the panel. Not as good as Have I got News For You, but it's still fresh comedy for a cosy Friday night in.
