STUDENTS at The Meridian School in Royston are preparing to tread the boards in Arthur Miller's classic witch-hunt drama, The Crucible. The production, which will be on tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, will have a cast of 19 students. After auditioning for the parts, the students have been rehearsing since Christmas. Emma Roskilly, joint head of drama, said: "The students are nervous as it's a really difficult play. "As there's not that many characters they have to learn a lot of lines, which they have done amazingly. And there's an added twist to the annual literary production, too. "We're doing it in cabaret style, so it should be really good," said Ms Roskilly. - The Crucible is on Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm at The Meridian School. You can book tickets, which cost £5 (adult) and £3 (child) by calling the school on 01763 242236.
