THIS new album by Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler and country star Emmylou Harris may not be a high profile affair, but that will not stop it being regarded as a fine piece of work.
It's not the first time Knopfler has recorded country-tinged work, and this project has been several years in the making, with the duo taking their time to produce material that was just right.
Harris' pure vocals and Knopfler's comfortable growl go together well, and Knopfler's guitar work is superb, as always.
