Available from Monday April 10 AN epic remake of the Merian C Cooper and Ernest B Schoedsack's famous 1933 movie of the same name. It was as big then as the giant gorilla that runs riot through New York, and it became as big when it hit the cinema screens last year. Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson continues in the vein of making big-budget blockbusters with this film. It tells the story of a filmmaker, played by Jack Black, who is desperate to shoot his latest work on an unexplored island. His bosses aren't keen, and cast members are giving up on the picture ever happening. But he convinces another actress, played by Naomi Watts, to get on board, and they head to the island, and come across a giant-gorilla which falls in love with her.
