WITH the panto season upon us, the ADC theatre offers a Christmas drama, with something for everyone in Nicholas Stuart Gray's version of Beauty and the Beast.
The Combined Actors of Cambridge bring to the stage the enchanting fairy tale of an ill-tempered, but dashing, young prince who is banished to live the rest of his days in a deserted castle by the wizard Hodge.
However, when fortune brings Mr Clement, a merchant, and his three daughters to the woods, things take a turn for the better for the prince, but can Beauty really win him over?
Beauty and the Beast runs from Tuesday-Saturday December 5-9 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 on Tuesday and on the Saturday Matinee (at 2pm) and £7 for concessions and £9 for others for the rest of the performances.
