NEIGHBOURS star Mark Little will be returning to the role that won him critical and public acclaim next month.

The Australian actor and comedian will be starring in Defending the Caveman - a comedy about men and women, on Monday March 19 at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage, as part of a 50-date spring tour.

Mark, 47, first appeared in the one-man show at London's Apollo Theatre and the production won the 2000 Society of London Theatre Olivier Award for Best Entertainment.

The show, which is an insight into the ways men and women relate, asks the two sexes to enter each other's worlds and accept their differences.

The show has gone from strength to strength since it opened on Broadway in 1995, and has been a sell-out all over the world, in countries such as South Africa, Australia, Russia, France and Switzerland.

Mark sprang to fame in Aussie soap Neighbours as Joe Mangel - his longest running television role (1985, 1988-1991, 2005).

Several years later he travelled to the other side of the world to replace Chris Evans on The Big Breakfast (1994) for Channel 4.

If you want to see Mark in his forthcoming show, get down to the Gordon Craig.

The show starts at 7.45pm.

For tickets priced at £17.50 each call the box office on 08700 131030 or visit www.gordon-craig.co.uk
