After a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, comedy duo, Flo and Joan bring their dark and witty songs to Cambridge Junction, on Friday, January 11.
British sisters Nicola and Rosie Dempsey trained separately in sketch and improvisation with Comedy Theatres in Chicago and Toronto before establishing their piano/percussion double act.
They had a viral hit with their 2016 Song, about all the bad events of the year. In late 2017, their songs formed the basis of a TV advertising campaign for the Nationwide building society, which drew both praise and savage trolling.
This, their third Edinburgh show, Alive on Stage, was completely sold-out its run at the festival and extra shows were added to keep up with demand.
The duo won Best Musical Act for 2018 at Leicester Comedy Festival and Best Music and Variety Act in the 2018 Chortle Awards.
Show 8pm. Tickets, £14 from 01223 511511 or junction.co.uk.
