SCOTTISH favourites Runrig were formed nearly 35 years ago. And if their new album is anything to go by, they still have plenty to offer.

They may not hit the top of the national album charts any more, but fans will not be disappointed with Everything You See, as the Runrig essentials are in place - top class songwriting with intelligent lyrics, mainly by brothers Rory and Calum MacDonald, and superb all-round musicianship.

But if anything, this is guitarist Malcolm Jones' album. His soaring melodic playing is all over this record, and is especially effective on the moving six-minute Ocean Road.
