MORE THAN 50 ballet dancers will be coming to the Cambridge Corn Exchange next month to tell two tales - one of passion, murder, and feud, and one about an eccentric toy maker.
Ellen Kent and Ballet International will be presenting the Russian Ballet Theatre who will be staging Romeo and Juliet and Coppelia.
Not only will the audience be fascinated by some of the world's best ballet dancers including Maria Poliudova and Vladimir Statnii, there will also be an orchestra and breathtaking sets in both productions.
Romeo and Juliet will be staged on Thursday March 22.
The tragedy will be set in medieval Verona and brought to life to Prokofiev's emotional music score and lavish renaissance costumes.
Coppelia will be staged on Friday March 23.
It is a fantastical tale about a toy maker and his amazing creations including a magical lifelike doll.
The colourful production is perfect for the whole family, with charming humour, and superb characters.
Children from a ballet school in the area will also join the cast in full costume as extras for the wedding scene.
Romeo and Juliet will begin at 7.30pm and Coppelia will begin at 7.30pm on Friday and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday.
For tickets which are priced from £15-£30.50 call the Cambridge Corn Exchange on 01223 357851.
