More than 22,000 visitors headed to the Imperial War Museum Duxford over the bank holiday weekend for some family-friendly fun across the museum and in the skies.
The Duxford Air Festival included air displays, reinactments from the Dawn Patrol and Ranger Re-enactments living history groups, and there was plenty to see and do on both Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors had a go at assembling a large scale model of a Boeing B-29 Superfortress from its component parts and met serving personnel from a series of different regiments.
The flying display included the opening act of the American Rockwell OV-10B Bronco, the rip-roaring Eurofighter Typhoon, the Breitling Wingwalkers, a pair of Mark I Supermarine Spitfires and The Great War Display Team, flying replica First World War aircraft and portraying the early days of combat flying during the Great War.
