Los Campesinos!
IF awards are ever given out for the silliest song title of 2008, Los Campesinos! will win hands down.
Track seven on their new album, Hold on Now Youngster, goes by the unlikely moniker of This Is How You Spell Ha Ha Ha We Destroyed the Hopes and Dreams of a Generation of Faux Romantics.
Bizarre appellations aside, this is a sparkling debut by the Welsh band (whose name roughly translates as "the peasants" in Spanish, if you were wondering), and features infectious singles You! Me! Dancing! and Death to Los Campesinos.
The influence of cult rockers Belle and Sebastian is obvious on the wonderful Sweet Dreams Sweet Cheeks.

At times, Hold on Now Youngster is not a particularly coherent affair, but nevertheless it has to go down as one of the best albums of 2008 so far. 4/5.
