The London collective Bugz In The Attic has launched its much anticipated debut album, with 16 tracks that make up Back In The Doghouse.
The collective, made up of Orin 'Afronaught' Walters, Paul 'Seiji' Dolby, Kaidi Tatham, Daz-I-Kue, Alex Phountzi, Cliff Scott, Mark G-Force, Matt Lord and Mikey Stirton, have been together for 10 years.
The team has successfully melded a love of hip-hop, Afro-sounds, soul, house, jazz and funk into a tapestry of sound which is quite immaculate. Included on the album is their recent single "Move Aside", which together with "Knocks Me Off My Feet" highlight the sassier side of US r & b. The track "Consequences" is like a straight-mix of an 80's disco funk album, while "Booty La La" was Worldwide's track of the year two years ago.
