IN an attempt to interest a wider audience, a group of artists ­displayed their work at an exhibition at The Bull, Royston.

One of the organisers, Sue Hartga, described the event as "worthwhile".

She said: "We were attempting to take art to a different audience, and I believe that is where we succeeded.

"We certainly attracted people who would not normally visit an art gallery."

The exhibition was part of this month's Herts Open Studios.
