The Luna Cinema is due to return to Knebworth Park from Thursday, August 31 to Saturday, September 2.

Audiences at Knebworth will be able to see an Audrey Hepburn classic, do the Time Warp, and watch Richard Gere and Julia Roberts on the big outdoor pop-up screen.

This year’s trio of films to be shown are Breakfast at Tiffany’s (PG), cult musical comedy The Rocky Horror Picture Show (15), and 1990 American romantic comedy Pretty Woman (15).

Based on Truman Capote’s novel and directed by Blake Edwards, 1961 romantic classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s stars Audrey Hepburn as flighty Holly Golightly.

Holly is a young New York socialite who becomes interested in a young man who has moved into her apartment building.

The movie also stars George Peppard.

The film can be seen outside at Knebworth Park on Thursday, August 31, with gates opening at 6.30pm and the movie starting around 8pm when it is dark.

Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and Richard O’Brien star in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which is the Friday night open air movie at Knebworth House.

In the 1975 comedy musical a newly engaged couple breakdown in an isolated area and end up in the bizarre residence of Dr Frank-N-Furter.

Expect plenty of audience participation at Knebworth House on September 1, especially during the famous Time Warp scene.

The three-night Luna Cinema season at Knebworth comes to a close on Saturday, September 2 with romantic rags-to-riches comedy Pretty Woman.

Richard Gere plays businessman Edward Lewis who hires beautiful prostitute Vivian, played by Julia Roberts, as an escort for some social events.

Inevitably, they fall in love.

A pre-sale for Luna Cinema newsletter subscribers opened at 10am today (Wednesday, March 29).

Tickets go on general sale to the public from 10am on Friday, March 31.
