A BRITISH comedy which has Martin Freeman and Jimmy Carr in the leading roles and revolves around a magazine competition for the Wedding of the Year.
The whole dialogue is improvised, which gives both Freeman and Carr the opportunity to use their comedy resources.
There is strong support from Alison Steadman, who knows much about improvisation from her days working with Mike Leigh, the creator of Abigal's Party.
Those taking part in the competition come up with such themes as a Broadway musical wedding, a tennis match and a nudist rite.
Obviously, such competitiveness leads to tensions and pressures - let alone pre-material jitters.
