HERE we have a tale of scandal and corruption set in 1950s Los Angeles and based on the death of George Reeves, the man who originally played Superman.
The events surrounding his death was questionable, but the studio bosses and the police wanted the case wrapped up and decided that it was suicide.
But not so private detective Louis Simo, a man determined to discover the truth.
Originally, the movie was to be called Truth, Justice and the American Way - the often repeated line from our superhero, but permission was refused by those who own the rights on the character.
It's a shame because in the circumstances it seems more appropriate.
