THE under-14 Knights became the club's second side to reach their League Cup final, as a single Laurie Owen goal was enough to overcome a difficult semi final tie at Bishop's Stortford and give the Reds a 1-0 victory. Despite already having clinched the Division Three title, the under-14 Lancers showed no sign of easing up in their match against Letchworth Garden City Eagles as goals from Jordan Pidock, Lee Chapman and Shaun Hunt gave them a 3-0 victory. The under-10 Knights and Lancers continued their improved form against Shefford Saints. The Knights and Saints shared the points in a six-goal thriller, with Jack Court scoring twice and Connor Shepherd also on target for the Knights. The Lancers went one better by beating Shefford's B side 1-0. The under-11 Templars rounded off their Division One season on a winning note as goals from Anthony Geary and Sam Talbot gave them a 2-0 win over Austen Arrowheads. Both the under-11 Crusaders and Knights suffered defeats. A Darren Abiss goal was Crusaders' only consolation in a 6-1 defeat by Sawbridgeworth Town, while the Knights were beaten 6-2 by Stevenage Borough Reds, with George Jackson and Conor Clarke on target for the home side. Jake Kirkman was on target to give the under-12 Templars the points in a 1-0 victory at home to Knebworth. Goals from George Laurence and Ross Cleverley were not enough to prevent the under-12 Knights slipping to a 4-2 defeat at home to Sandy, while a Richard Bailey goal was enough to give the under-12 Lancers a share of the points in a 1-1 draw against Stevenage Tigers. The under-13 Templars suffered their worst defeat of the season, as they were beaten 6-1 at Apollo. Luke Hennessey scoring the consolation goal for the visitors. In Division Three, the under-13 Crusaders recent run of good form came to an end as they were beaten 5-0 by a strong Broadhall Youth side. The under-13 Knights continued their excellent end of season form as they recorded another victory, this time 1-0 against Arlesey Town. In Division One of the under-15 league the Templars met the Saints in a double-header, with the Templars taking the six points with 1-0 and 7-1 victories, thanks to three goals from Alex Wilson, two each from Mickey Kostik and Josh Furness, and a Scott Lawrence effort. It was a good day for both the under-16 sides. The Templars took the points against Ware Youth, as two goals from Bhavan Aujla and an Oliver Lee strike earned them a 3-1 victory in their Division One clash, while the Crusaders kept their Division Two promotion hopes very much alive with an emphatic 4-0 win at Bishop's Stortford Jets, thanks to goals from Chris Moodey, Nathan Charles, Jack Hargreaves and James Ward. Finally a weakened under-17 Crusaders were defeated 3-0 by a physical Risden Wood side.
