A ROYSTON Swimming Club sponsored swim raised nearly £150 for victims of the hurricane which devastated New Orleans. Youngsters swam as far as they could in 20 minutes and donated money to the American Red Cross. The club's coaches said they thought it appropriate that children who spent large parts of their lives having fun in water should appreciate the misery and terror water could cause.
