JACOB Oberholzer, Benjamin Cooper, Jarrod Attriedes and Imogen Ranner all fought well to bring home two silver and two bronze medals for Melbourn at a friendly judo event.

The four youngsters went to the Littleport mini-mons tournament where they fought in their own age categories against members of other local clubs.

Ranner was in a pool with four extremely well matched girls with all contests having the possibility of going either way, but in the end she came through in second place on points with some excellent attacking judo.

Based in the same group, Attriedes and Oberholzer both won and lost one contest before facing each other in a fight for second.

Attriedes won to claim the silver medal with Oberholzer picking up a bronze.

Cooper also won a bronze, despite being the smallest in his pool.
