IN their first game of the New Year, Royston returned to winning ways with a 44-30 victory over Ipswich.
Emma Winser started the game confidently, moving the ball around well and setting up a number of chances to make sure that her side took an early lead.
And after building up a healthy margin, Royston continued to impress, as Jackie Huttlestone, Anna Pinner and Jo Moxham kept the Ipswich attack at bay.
And Royston began to make even more of an impact in the third quarter, while their defence continued to hold firm.
The last quarter saw Royston's control extend further, as some excellent shooting from Tracy Stimson secured a comfortable win.
Royston: Moxham, Pinner, Huttleston, Higton, Hume, Parcell, Stimson, Winser.
