THE Cougars travelled to Melbourn Tigers on Sunday and ran out 6-2 winners to go top of Division Four.
The visitors started the brighter and after a fine run down the right wing Will Thorp finished with a great strike to put his side one up.
Cougars kept the pressure on but could not get by the Melbourn keeper until the end of the first half when Sam Rice finished well from close range.
Cougars were on top for most of the second half and soon added to the scoring through Myles Radwell, although Melbourn palled one back.
the Cougars were not finished with their scoring, however, and Rice added to his goal with one more and the scoring was finished of with two well taken goals from George Woods after Melbourn had got their second.
Cougars ran out winners 6-2 winners.
