Melbourn Tigers U-9 2 Bishop's Stortford 0
AFTER last week's indifferent performance, Tigers bounced back in style.
Charlie Weber was causing Stortford problems at the back. And it was Weber who helped make the breakthrough when his fine strike cannoned off the keeper and into the path of Jacob Rand.
Will Thompson and Rebecca Brooker added energy to the Melbourn midfield, offering constant support to the strikers.
The visitors created a few chances, but when they did break through keeper Sam Carrington was always at hand to keep them at bay.
Melbourn's second came courtesy of a Thompson strike after some great work from Weber and Brooker.
