Royston Golf Club’s annual Men’s Invitation Day was held on Saturday with 22 teams taking part.
The event enables Royston members to invite players from other clubs to play their course in a four ball better ball format with various skill prizes also on offer.
Some excellent scores were seen on the day and best of the bunch were Chris Watson and Steve Harper with their 43 points closely followed by Mick Merry and Stevie Kearns on 42.
The best front nine score was taken by brothers Nigel and Graham Thomas.
The back nine holes into the wind proved a harder test and 19 points was enough to win it for Miall Walker and playing partner Scott Turner.
