DAVID Jolley ended his long wait for success by claiming Heydon Grange's Lucy and Natalie Godfrey Memorial Trophy on Sunday.
The nine-handicapper has been knocking on the door all season with some excellent rounds of golf, and as a result of the win, has now booked his place in the end-of-season medal and trophy winners competition.
The winner of the ladies' section trophy was club champion and Cambridge County "B" team player Tina Broadley, who saw off current lady captain Linda Williams on countback.
