TOWN Vets produced another impressive display to overcome a lively Guilden Morden side in an entertaining game on Sunday.
The movement and passing between strikers Peter Leete and Paul Lewis caused the home side problems throughout the first half and Town opened the scoring after 15 minutes when Leete headed in a Kevin Barthrop free kick on the right.
Lewis added a second when Leete headed on over the last defender and then Leete and Carlo Silenti combined to score from close range for number three.
Town's defence was giving nothing away at the other end of pitch and 'keeper Simon Dobson was quick to sweep up any danger that threatened the goal.
The all-action Silenti chipped the home 'keeper to score Town's fourth goal following good work by Steve Holden, all before the half time whistle.

In the second period Town created several good chances but their finishing deserted them and they could not extend their lead.
Morden enjoyed more of the ball and created some good openings themselves but Dobson denied them a deserved goal with three good saves.
