ROYSTON Tennis Club's vets teams were in action this week for the second round of the Cambs League.

There was a win for the first team as Pru Burton, Christine Knight, Mike Fellingham and Ralph Betts saw off Histon with a thumping 8-0 victory.

However, the second team had to settle for a share of the spoils as they drew 4-4 with Huntingdon, despite the best efforts of Kathy Betts, Emma Daintrey, Garry Tobiss, and Peter Goodbody.

Both teams will be back in action this weekend with the first team at home to Gransdens on Saturday and the seconds making the trip to St Neots.
