Black Hoops started with a convincing 5-0 win but the White Hoops lost 5-3 after leading 3-1 at the break.
Both teams played a half each in the final game and a 3-1 lead at the break set up by the Black Hoops remained a Black Hoops started and handed over a 3-1 lead which the White Hoops preserved until the final whistle.
Players of the day were William Smith (Black Hoops) for great support play and new boy Hugo Lawrence (White Hoops) for enthusiastic tackling.
The under-nines will be training on Therfield Heath this Sunday from 10am, all are welcome.
