A FULL strength side and the first home game of the season bought a well-deserved win for Royston's U13s.

Although the visitors, Ely took the initiative in the opening stages of the first half and scored try which they converted.

Royston soon found their confidence, started to exert some pressure in the opposition's half and managed to rack up three tries in the first half.

Ely hit back in the second half with good possession and scored a quick try, although Royston's defence were able to nullify most of their attacks.

Royston then scored a fourth try of their own and finished the game triumphant.
