ROYSTON Town Youth Under-10s A team put in a resilient performance against a strong Letchworth Blues side.

The visitors took the lead late in the first half despite some heroic goalkeeping by Jack Hallewell.

In the second half Max Logan led the line well and the defence of Jamie Penn and Jamie Copeland worked hard throughout the match.

It was left to a sublime free kick by Michael Baulk to score the equaliser and despite some late pressure from Royston to grab the winner the game finished in a creditable 1-1 draw.

Under-10s

THIS high scoring and entertaining match saw Royston Town Youth Under-10s B team take an early two goal lead only to be pegged back quickly by Letchworth Reds.

Royston went in at half-time 3-2 leaders with goals from Joe James, Tom Fox and Lewis Anderson.

The second period was a similar open game with Letchworth drawing level again early in the half.

Man-of-the-Match Joe James scored his second and the team looked for more, but once again the Reds regained parity and this exciting game finished at 4-4.

ROYSTON Town Youth Under-10s C looked comfortable throughout this local derby game against Buntingford Cougars Stripes coming out deserved 3-1 winners.

Brilliant defensive play by Lewis Poulter and Frankie Crotty allowed the midfield and strikers to launch attack after attack.

Tom Turner put in a solid midfield performance and Will Tucker looked sharp up front notching two good goals with Daniel Baulk adding one of his own.

Under-10s

THE relatively newly formed Royston Town Youth Under-10s D team continued their fine run of performances with the whole squad pulling together to take the 3-1 win against Buntingford Cougars Stripes.

Outstanding games in midfield from Luke Warner and George Turner and a fine debut from Harry Warehand ensured plenty of goal scoring chances.

Warner, Turner and Warehand scored a goal each to seal the victory.
