TALENTED young footballers from in and around Royston will get the chance to try out for a place at Cambridge United's Centre of Excellence.
The Blue Square Premier side's youth development team will be holding trials for the club's Baldock Development Centre at Knights Templar Sports Centre in Weston Way tomorrow (Friday).
Those who are successful will be offered a place on the scheme that will offer weekly training sessions, tournaments and matches. They may also get the chance for a trial at the club's Centre of Excellence.
The trials run from 5.30-6.30pm, for youngsters born between September 1 1996 and August 31 2003.
