THERE were plenty of goals and excitement in the last weekend of the Royston Crow Cup Finals.
In the first of the afternoon's action Knebworth Wild Cats under-11s defeated league and county cup champions Letchworth Garden City Clarets after extra time to win the Danny Spinks Memorial Trophy. Going into extra-time at 1-1, both teams created a number of chances with Letchworth adding a second. But their lead was cut short when Knebworth snatched two quick goals before the final whistle.
In the under-12 Sainsburys Cup, Herts Rangers knocked six past Sawbridgeworth Juniors, and in the under-13 Meads Cup, Bishop's Stortford Community Club beat Letchworth Garden City Reds 2-1 in another fiercely- fought final.
