GOALS from Daniel Nicholson, George Higginson and Mark Rogers helped the under- 11 Templars get back to winning ways as they beat Bishop's Stortford 3-0.

The under-11 Knights and Lancers both suffered defeats, with the Knights losing 6-3 at Fairlands, and the Lancers 6-2 at Division 4 leaders Wymondley Park.

The under-12 Crusaders produced the best result of the day, and moved up to second place in Division 3, after inflicting league leaders Shefford Saints' first defeat of the season.

Goals from Iain Robinson and Toby Harvey, together with an own goal helped the Crusaders run out convincing 3-0 winners.

After their recent good form, the under-12 Knights never got going against Arlesey Town, and had goalkeeper Jordan Pope to thank for keeping the score down.

Despite goals from James Rushmere and Jordan Bright, the home side finally ran out 6-2 winners.

The under-13 Knights produced one of their best performances of the season, as a hat-trick from Charan Basra, together with two goals from Jordan Davis and a Thomas Batt strike helped earned them a 6-2 victory over Royston Celtic.

The under-15 Knights put their recent disappointing form behind them as they claimed an excellent away point, holding third placed Ware to a goalless draw.

The under-15 Crusaders paid the price for a poor first-half, which saw them go 4-0 down against Stotfold.

The second-half was a different story, as Crusaders dominated proceedings and created a string of chances, forcing the Stotfold keeper to make several fine saves.

Substitute Tom Durkin scored with a great shot from outside the penalty area to reduce the deficit and make the final score 4-1.

The under 17 Crusaders returned from Stansted with a point after drawing 1-1.
