ANDREA Wright claimed top spot at Royston & District Angling Club's first evening match, with a catch of 25 lbs 7 oz.
Ralph Currie was runner-up with 14 lbs 11oz, ahead of Andy Jarvis, 13 lbs 15 oz.
The next evening match will take place on Friday, July 4 at Thriplow Reservoir.
The first PC match was fished on Sunday at Barrington Cement Works, in conjunction with Rugby Cement and Eternit Angling Clubs. Rugby anglers took the top four places, with Royston's Steve McGuire and Andrea Wright fifth and sixth respectively. Mick Rivers finished seventh.
